NEW YORK – Suns shooting guard Sonny Weems has played more in the past two games than in any consecutive games this season and the results have been his best basketball of the season.
It has been a long-overdue opportunity in Weems’ eyes but one that also could be fleeting when point guard Ronnie Price (toe surgery) returns in February and whenever guard Brandon Knight (groin strain) plays again.
“I think I can do a lot more,” Weems said. “I think I’m a more complete player than most think I am. It’s still a long season. I still have got time to show the complete game that I have.
