Former Los Angeles Clippers center Mason Plumlee agreed to a 1-year, $3.3 million deal with the Phoenix Suns, per Adrian Wojnarowski. With Drew Eubanks declining his player option with the Suns, it was quite expected that the Suns were going to fulfill the backup big spot in free agency this offseason.
Plumlee averaged 5.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.4 blocks per game in the 2023–24 season. Plumlee will help bring more consistent big play off the bench for the Suns with his high-IQ play and his knack for the pick-and-roll on the offensive end.
