CLEVELAND – At 5:45 p.m. Cleveland time Friday, Cavaliers assistant coach Larry Drew, who’s filling in for the ailing Tyronn Lue, announced that injured players Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr., and Rodney Hood would all be available to play against the Suns.
Fifteen minutes later, interim Suns coach Jay Triano said T.J. Warren (knee) would not play. About 30 minutes after that, Devin Booker (sprained hand) told azcentral sports that he wouldn’t be able to go, either.
So it goes for Phoenix these days. The Suns probably had little chance of beating the Cavs when fully healthy.
