The Phoenix Suns started Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers without four starters. Elfrid Payton, Devin Booker, T.J. Warren and Alex Len all were out with injuries.
The Suns started the fourth quarter with Josh Jackson and four guys who have spent time with the G League NAZ Suns this season: Shaq Harrison, Alec Peters, Davon Reed and Alan Williams.
So, yeah, Los Angeles’ 111-99 victory at Talking Stick Resort Arena was business as usual for Phoenix. It was the 13th straight loss for the Suns, tying the franchise record for a single-season losing streak. With games at Houston Friday and Golden State Sunday, Phoenix likely will zoom past the franchise record of 14 straight losses.
