FLAGSTAFF - The Suns’ productive, energetic and harmonious training camp ended that way with Saturday’s public scrimmage, even if the tied finish took a bit of scripting.
Emblematic of a week that was feel-good beyond the crisp mountain air, each of the Suns players seemed to have his turn at shining during the intrasquad scrimmage in front of 5,048 fans at Northern Arizona University’s Walkup Skydome.
In order for every player to feel good leaving without a loss, it took a timeout from the White team when it led by two points with 2.2 seconds to go to set up Eric Bledsoe’s buzzer-beating, game-tying baseline jump shot.
