According to an ESPN report Wednesday morning, the Suns’ pursuit of a starting point guard could weave itself into the ongoing discussions between Miami and Minnesota regarding superstar forward Jimmy Butler.
As Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted Wednesday, if Goran Dragic were to head to the Timberwolves in a potential Butler deal, it would leave one of Jeff Teague or Tyus Jones out of the mix in the Wolves’ point guard rotation.
Wojnarowski called Jones “another PG on Phoenix’s radar,” which aligns with previous reports and makes sense, as Jones is 22 and aligns more closely with the Suns’ timeline.
