Phoenix Suns backup point guard Cameron Payne views Chris Paul as more than just a teammate.
"That's my brother," Payne said after Thursday's shootaround going into Game 6 in Los Angeles with the Suns up 3-2 on the defending NBA champion Lakers.
As impactful as Paul has been for the Suns this season, he may take his talent elsewhere. Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus reported the 11-time All-Star "intends" to decline his player option of $44.2 million, which would make him the third highest-paid player in the NBA next season, and become a free agent in search of a multiyear deal.
