The Phoenix Suns are taking the whiteboard eraser and wiping the slate clean for the 2024-25 season, at least as it pertains to their coaching strategy. Following a disappointing end result to the 2023-24 season, one that saw the team go 49-33, finishing as the sixth seed in the Western Conference, and being swept out of the playoffs, the organization chose to move on from head coach Frank Vogel after just one year.
25.5 hours later, Mike Budenholzer was announced as his replacement.
Last year the Suns went 20 days without a head coach.
