With the NBA off schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic, teams are asking the league to push back the NBA Draft from its scheduled June 25 date to August 1 at least, ESPN and DraftExpress are reporting.
This comes a month after SNYtv reporter Ian Begley tweeted last month that Kentucky coach John Calipari told him the NBA combine and draft would be pushed back in wake of COVID-19.
The Phoenix Suns (26-39) would have a lottery pick if the NBA decides to skip the regular season and go straight to the playoffs.
