Troy Daniels was brought in, via trade with the Memphis Grizzlies, to help the Phoenix Suns‘ decimated depth at shooting guard once both Brandon Knight and Davon Reed were sidelined for long periods of time. Daniels’ proving to be more than just a patch to temporarily fix the depth chart. If his solid play continues for the rest the season, there’s little doubt he will be with the team long term. This past week, Daniels did a lot in cementing his place in the Suns’ future with his excellent play and won this week’s player of the week.
