Tyler Johnson has gone from missing games with a sore knee to seeing his last days in Phoenix.
The Republic confirmed through multiple sources the Suns are waiving Johnson as the combo guard has missed last four games with right knee soreness. In the final year of his contract that's paying him $19 million, Johnson is averaging a career-low 5.7 points a game.
ESPN first reported the news as Johnson will be an unrestricted free agent after clearing waivers and is expected to draw interest from other teams.
