On Thursday it was announced via #WojBomb that the Phoenix Suns would be trading Marcus Morris, Danny Granger and Reggie Bullock to the Pistons, for future pick(s).

The Pistons will send the Suns a 2020 second-round draft pick. So yes, the Suns are clearing salary cap space.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the move opened up approximately $20 million in cap space, which the Suns could then use to acquire LaMarcus Aldridge for maximum money, without requiring a sign-and-trade.
