The Suns have traded veteran forward Jared Dudley and a protected 2021 second-round pick to Brooklyn for forward Darrell Arthur, whose contract will be bought out, according to an NBA source.
Phoenix also will guarantee the contract of second-year guard Davon Reed Friday and the Suns plan on keeping point guard Shaq Harrison. Reed will make $1.37 million this season. Reed's and Harrison's performances in the Las Vegas Summer League were big factors in the Suns' decision to keep them.
Dudley, 33, averaged a career-low 3.2 points per game in 2017-18 while playing in only 48 games.
