Jay Triano knows that the Phoenix Suns are going to have bad nights. It’s what happens to young basketball teams in the NBA.
But that doesn’t mean he has to shrug his shoulders and accept it, particularly when Phoenix plays as poorly as it did in Friday’s 129-97 loss to the Utah Jazz at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
It was the Suns’ worst loss since Triano became interim coach three games into the season and it was mindful of the first week of the season, when Phoenix, under then-coach Earl Watson, lost by 48 to Portland and 42 to the Los Angeles Clippers.
