Ricky Rubio and Aron Baynes will look to play key roles for the Phoenix Suns this upcoming season.
More so Rubio because he'll start at the point, but Baynes can serve as a viable backup to Deandre Ayton in the middle. Right now, Rubio and Baynes are in the FIBA World Cup in China representing their respective homelands.
So far, so good for both.
Spain has started 2-0 in Group C pool play thanks in large part of Rubio, who had 17 points and nine assists in Saturday's 101-62 thumping of Tunisia and 17 points, eight rebounds and four assists in Monday's 73-63 victory over Puerto Rico.
