Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul on becoming sixth all-time assist leader

Chris Paul added to his extensive and impressive resume in the Suns’ win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night.

In the second quarter, with his third dime of the evening, the 35 year old floor leader drove to the rim and kicked out to Mikal Bridges for an open three-pointer. Swish.

That brought him to 9,888 career assists, leapfrogging Oscar Robertson for the sixth most assists in NBA history. It’s watching moments like this and witnessing him making history that show us Suns fans just how great of a player he is.

You ask who the five guys ahead of him on the all-time leaderboard are?
