In case you missed it, the Phoenix Suns proudly announced last week that starting in Fall 2024, they will hold a G League affiliate.
Prior to this, the Suns were the only team in the NBA without a G League affiliate. This move will expand the G League to 32 teams (two of which are not affiliated with an NBA franchise).
Suns’ owner Mat Ishbia expressed great pride in finally bringing an affiliate team to the valley, stating, “Adding a G League team creates another area for us to compete to be the best and will be a vital tool to help develop players and coaches.
