The NBA on Sunday announced Phoenix Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has been fined $10,000 "for directing inappropriate language toward a game official," after Friday's overtime loss at Denver.
Oubre was one of three Suns to foul out in the 108-107 loss. Aron Baynes and Ricky Rubio also fouled out.
The Suns were called for 35 fouls, but also attempted more free throws (31-of-32) than the Nuggets (27-of-29).
Oubre had a team-high 23 points in the loss.
The Suns rebounded to stun the Los Angeles Clippers, 130-122, in the second game of a back-to-back Saturday.
