Phoenix started its six-game homestand without one of its best players who is having a career season.
Kelly Oubre Jr. missed Wednesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers with an injury to his right knee.
“He’s one of our brothers,” Suns wing Mikal Bridges said. “It’s tough, especially how our season’s been going with injuries and stuff like that. Finally kind of get healthy, just without Frank (Kaminsky), and then somebody else gets hurt. It’s tough. We all love each other. We all want to be out there together.”
Monty Williams wasn’t sure about when and how Oubre hurt his knee after the morning shootaround.
