Phoenix Suns drop second straight preseason game at Utah in Chris Paul's debut

The Phoenix Suns lost a second straight preseason game at Utah, 111-92, in Chris Paul's debut Monday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

The All-Star veteran point guard finished with five points and six assists in 18 minutes. Paul sat out Saturday's preseason opener with right ankle soreness as the Suns lost, 119-105.

On Monday, Utah used a 21-0 run that started late in the first half and continued in the second half to take a 62-48 lead after Phoenix led by seven. The Jazz led by as many as 26 points.

The Suns will play their first game in the renovated PHX Arena on Wednesday against the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers in another preseason game.
