The Phoenix Suns had their most jam-packed draft workout yet on Thursday, with three potential first round options in Frank Kaminsky, Trey Lyles and Kelly Oubre on display.
Unfortunately for the Suns, Kaminsky’s workout with the team was limited after butting heads with Greg Whittington, another participant and he had to leave the workout to go get stitches. He missed the 3-on-3 drills but returned for the remainder of the workout after getting temporarily fixed up. Kaminsky was unavailable to talk to the media afterward.
Rounding out the group of six were Green Bay’s Keifer Sykes, Georgetown’s Greg Whittington, New Mexico State’s Daniel Mullings and fill-in Bo Barnes, a local kid from ASU who once again replaced an injured player after getting a call from the Suns.
