The Suns held another round of predraft workouts, headlined by former Duke guard Trevon Duval. The group also included Jaylen Adams (St. Bonaventure), Jordan McLaughlin (USC), Jeff Roberson (Vanderbilt), Elijah Stewart (USC) and Yuta Watanabe (George Washington/Japan).
Of the six, Duval, 19, was the only player younger than 21.
Despite the age difference, Duval impressed Suns Assistant General Manager Pat Connelly.
“It was a veteran workout,” Connelly said. “Trevon was the only guy that was a non-senior, so it was physical, but Trevon’s built like a senior.”
All of the players who worked out could be candidates for the Suns’ second-round picks (31 and 59, barring a trade).
