The Phoenix Suns need a superstar. They need veteran leadership, they need perimeter shooting and they need interior defense and rebounding. While these areas of need are not mutually exclusive, the biggest thing the Suns need to take the next step forward is a franchise player.
It just so happens that LaMarcus Aldridge will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
From the Suns’ perspective, this is a no-brainer. Even at 29 years old, if Aldridge expresses interest, it’d be pretty hard to turn down the opportunity to bring in one of the best power forwards in the NBA.
