Let’s presume that Deandre Ayton knows what he’s talking about, and the Suns will take him with the No. 1 pick in the June 21 NBA draft.
The question then becomes, whom will Phoenix select at No. 16?
General Manager Ryan McDonough has said the Suns likely will look for backcourt help if they go with a big man at No. 1. It was instructive, then, that UCLA point guard Aaron Holiday had his second workout with Phoenix on Thursday.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pound Holiday is the only player who has worked out twice for the Suns and at least two mock drafts, including ours at azcentral.
