After two consecutive nine-point first quarters, the Suns couldn’t start any worse.
They dropped their eighth-straight game Friday night as Miami withstood Phoenix’s early surge in a 115-98 win at Talking Stick Resort Arena, but it wasn’t a complete cakewalk.
“The effort was definitely there tonight,” Suns wing Josh Jackson said. “What I was more excited about was that it was there from the beginning and didn’t take us taking a punch and realizing, 'Oh we’re in a fight now and we’ve got to play.
