LAS VEGAS -- The summer league experience is something new for Suns second-year forward Alec Peters, who didn’t participate in the event a year ago due to a right leg stress fracture.
The rehab was more important for his career, but Peters still sees the value in playing summer league games, as he did here over the weekend.
He's able to start relationships with prospective teammates, be in an NBA environment and just talk to people. Summer league is the NBA’s LinkedIn account, and all the NBA personnel and media are hitting the "connect" button.
Peters gets it but still wants to leave Sin City with success.
