As Assane Drame of Valley of the Suns wrote, the Phoenix Suns are on the clock to be competitive based on Devin Booker‘s upcoming extension. With that in mind, the Suns can’t be patient with players that need multiple years to develop into a contributing rotational player. That, along with the fact that Alec Peters has shown very little production with the franchise, is why the Suns need to cut ties with the stretch big.
Peters’ tenure with the Suns has lacked any type of quality production.
