SAN ANTONIO – Alan Williams couldn’t help himself.
Marquese Chriss had just made his game-saving block against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday and Williams rose from the bench in celebration, making sure, however, that he jumped off his left leg rather than putting stress on the right knee that underwent surgery in late September.
Still, his antics didn’t go unnoticed by a woman sitting about 20 rows up from the Suns’ bench.
“I looked back up at my mom and she was kind of like, ‘Sit down and stop jumping. Please stop jumping,’” Williams said. “After the game she came up to me and smacked me in the arm.
