The Phoenix Suns may have missed out on LaMarcus Aldridge, but at least they agreed to a contract with Sonny Weems!
In all seriousness, the news first reported by ESPN’s Chris Broussard — that the Suns agreed to terms on a two-year, $5.8 million deal with Weems, who was last seen in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors back in 2011 — is not a terrible move.

Weems, who turned 29 on the same day he agreed to a contract with the Suns, is an explosive leaper who can throw down some hearty dunks.
