Setting expectations for the Phoenix Suns is nearly impossible. For one, they are coming in with a very different group of personnel. Second, this is the same franchise that won 48 games when they were supposed to win 19 and then won 39 games when they were supposed to improve on their success.
Looking at the new team, it’s hard to gauge what it can do. A large portion of its ability to succeed is based upon things on the floor that “might happen, but might not.” The more of these 50-50 bets that go their way, the better the team will be.
