Philadelphia 76ers rookie Zhaire Smith — a member of the Phoenix Suns for about 10 minutes before being traded on draft night — suffered a fractured left foot during a developmental camp on Monday, Yahoo's Shams Charania first reported.
The Suns originally picked Smith with the 16th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft, but he was dealt to Philadelphia almost immediately for the No. 10 pick (Mikal Bridges) and the Miami Heat's unprotected 2021 first-round pick.
Smith becomes a part of the 76ers' long history of injured rookies.
