OAKLAND – Golden State has the better team.
Correction.
The Warriors have the league’s best team.
It’s not surprising the back-to-back defending NBA champions soundly defeated Phoenix 123-103 Monday night before another sellout crowd of 19,596 at Oracle Arena in a game the Warriors led by as many as 30 points.
Steph Curry scored a game-high 29 and Kevin Durant added 22.
Remember, that was preseason when the Suns beat the Warriors.
Thought this time would be different. Plus, the Warriors were coming off a two-point loss Saturday night at Denver.
