NEW YORK -- Ricky Rubio came back to the Phoenix Suns a first-time dad and posted one of his best games of the season in Thursday's 121-98 win at New York.
After becoming a father this week in Phoenix, Rubio rejoined the team on Wednesday after missing Tuesday's loss at Atlanta and delivered a near triple double of 25 points, 13 assists, eight rebounds and four steals in a bounce-back win for the Suns.
Deandre Ayton returned to the starting lineup after coming off the bench in Phoenix's last three games and posted a double-double of 26 points, a season high, and 21 rebounds, a career-high.
