NBA Rumor Central: John Jenkins' deadline pushed back

The three-year contract signed by guard John Jenkins in July 2015 with the Dallas Mavericks provided full salary protection for the 2016-17 season, if he is not waived on or before July 11, 2016. According to The Arizona Republic, the Phoenix Suns and Jenkins have agreed to delay the deadline from Monday until late October.
