DETROIT— Markieff Morris likes and listens to his Suns coach. He likes his Suns teammates, smiling through practices and locker room time, joking with them and pulling for them.
Any repercussions of his summer unhappiness with how Suns management traded his twin, Marcus, to Detroit only shows in his court time or absence of it. Markieff’s shooting has been a struggle for most of his Suns appearances this season but he also has missed three games for injury for the first time in his career, including Wednesday’s rematch against his twin’s Pistons team because of a left-knee bruise.
