Memphis guard Mike Conley's career night sends Suns to fourth straight loss

They’re two of the NBA’s better point guards, one established, the other rising, but neither were selected to participate in next month’s All-Star game.

In Eric Bledsoe’s case, the reason is simple. The Suns are at the bottom of the Western Conference. In Mike Conley’s, it’s a bit more complicated. The Memphis point guard has not made an All-Star game once during his 10-year career, which many find baffling.

On Monday night, the two squared off at Talking Stick Resort Arena. Conley was terrific, scoring a career-high 38 points and dishing nine assists to lead Memphis to a 115-96 win over the Suns.
