Beating New Orleans would've made Phoenix's three-game road trip a "great" one like Monty Williams wanted.
The Suns instead followed up consecutive victories at Dallas in a span of three days with a lopsided 123-101 loss Wednesday to the Pelicans.
That made the road trip just a "good" one for Devin Booker.
"Whenever you can come out with a winning record when you hit the road is good," he said. "Obviously we see there is room for improvement and I think we'll make those adjustments."
As good as Phoenix (11-9) felt after the Dallas wins, it left New Orleans knowing it has dropped five games against teams with losing records.
