The Suns’ vision is all a Brazilian Blur after convincing Leandro Barbosa to return to Phoenix for the third Suns playing stint of his career.
Barbosa, 33, agreed Wednesday night to a two-year contract potentially worth $8 million. Barbosa will be paid $4 million this season, his 14th in the NBA, but the second year’s $4 million salary only includes $500,000 of guaranteed money.
Barbosa will be the Suns’ second-oldest player (57 days younger than Tyson Chandler) and gives the Suns 13 guaranteed contracts, including five other guards – Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker, Archie Goodwin, Brandon Knight and Tyler Ulis.
