Phoenix native and award-winning recording artist Jordin Sparks will perform the national anthem at the Coca-Cola & Fry’s Food Stores Suns Home Opener on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at Talking Stick Resort Arena. The Suns’ matchup with the Sacramento Kings is set to tip-off at 7 p.m.
Sparks, who was born and raised in the Valley, rose to fame in 2007 after winning the sixth season of American Idol at age 17. She remains the youngest winner in the history of the series and has gone on to release three studio albums in her career.
Sparks’ self-titled debut album was released in November 2007 and reached number 10 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
