The Phoenix Suns officially welcomed combo guard Jimmer Fredette to their roster Friday morning and signed the 30-year-old to a two-year contract (next year is a team option).
Fredette began his NBA career in Sacramento in 2011 and hopped around a bit from the NBA to its Developmental League but things didn’t work out for him as many thought it would.
“Sometimes it’s just not the right situation at the right time and it happens to a lot of guys in this league,” Fredette said. “It’s tough if you’re not one of the main guys every single night.
