Most nights there isn’t a lot of commotion in that area. The media gathers around Devin Booker, Tyson Chandler or, more recently, Marquese Chriss.
On Sunday, however, after Phoenix’s 114-100 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jackson had to leave his stall so he didn’t get trampled as the media surrounded Bender. And that was after Jackson got the first wave of questions.
The attention was well-deserved.
Bender and Jackson were the unquestioned stars in Phoenix’s 14-point win, which tied the Suns’ largest victory margin this season.
