Kira Lewis Jr. didn’t just start dreaming about playing in the NBA going into ninth-grade.
He began working overtime toward making that a reality.
“That’s when I really started taking it serious,” Lewis said. “Started feeling like I could make it to the NBA. So I started doing extra work whenever I could every day. Working out before and after practice. During school. Watching the pros. Taking something from their game and putting it into yours.”
Next week, Lewis will officially fulfill that dream.
The smooth and slender ultra-fast point guard out of Alabama who can shoot, create and defend is expected to be a lottery selection in the Nov.
