INDIANAPOLIS – The Suns overcame a horrible start when they were tied with the Indiana Pacers in the final minute of the third quarter after not scoring for the game’s first five minutes.
They could not overcome the bigger picture of being a wayward team missing three point guards, including their top scorers, and a backup center. The Suns started a three-game road trip with their eighth consecutive away loss, a 116-97 defeat to the Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Suns (13-27) lost by 19 or more points for the eighth time this season and now are 6-22 since Nov.
