Ryan McDonough came out spitting Steph Curry-level flames tonight. It was assumed all along that the Suns would focus on obtaining either Marquese Chriss or Dragan Bender with the fourth overall pick, but to snag both of the upstart big men was a coup that seemed too far-fetched to even dream.
McDonough spoke to conceiving a plan of sneaking back into the middle of the lottery to steal a falling Chriss as late as this morning, and it took awhile to find a team that would bite on the assets he had accumulated up to this point.
