Game Day: Phoenix Suns host the New York Knicks

The Devin Booker point guard experiment has started for the Phoenix Suns. How long it lasts, no one knows.

Interim coach Jay Triano shook up his starting lineup for Friday’s game against the New York Knicks, shifting Booker to point guard with Troy Daniels starting at shooting guard. In addition, Marquese Chriss, who has missed the last six games with a strained right hip, will start at power forward.

Triano said a lineup with Booker at the point, Daniels at shooting guard and T.J. Warren at small forward (Warren will play after banging knees at practice Thursday) is “something I’ve wanted to look at for a while.
