Paul Westphal's fingerprints are all over the history of the Phoenix Suns.
Now, he will be enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Acquired in a 1975 trade with Boston, Westphal’s first season with the Suns was, to say the least, memorable – 20.5 points per game in the franchise’s first trip to the NBA Finals.
Westphal, who was elected as a player, was announced Saturday as one of the 12 honorees in the 2019 class of the Basketball Hall of Fame.
