Leandro Barbosa, or as he’s famously called “The Blur” for his on-court speed, recently went through his own scare with the coronavirus pandemic. The former Phoenix Suns guard who played nine of his 14 seasons in the Valley, as well as with his pregnant wife, contracted COVID-19 recently in Brazil.
Barbosa is still playing basketball in his native Brazil where he’s the league’s leading scorer, but his battle with coronavirus was scary. The Blur described to Marc Stein of The New York Times the symptoms he went through, which included all of the following: headaches, shortness of breath, body aches, etc.
