Jamal Murray was hitting halfcourt shots before Saturday’s game, drawing oohs from a group of fans behind the goal.
Seemed appropriate considering he scored 46 points, hitting 9-of-11 threes, in leading the Denver Nuggets to a win the last time they came to Talking Stick Resort Arena.
That didn’t set too well with the Suns.
“Forty-six was way too much,” Suns rookie point guard De’Anthony Melton said. “Anybody that comes in here and drops 46 on our home court is kind of disrespectful.”
