Although he is one of the top three-point shooters in the league, Jared Dudley has provided the Suns a lot more than just points since the team adjusted his role a week ago.
Before Phoenix took on the Trail Blazers last Tuesday, Head Coach Earl Watson decided to make a change in the starting lineup by replacing Dudley with Marquese Chriss.
“You gotta look at your lineups,” Dudley explained. “When I start, you start with T.J. (Warren) and (Eric) Bledsoe and (Devin) Booker and those are the main scorers.”
With all three of those players averaging more than 18 points per game, Dudley was better suited to provide scoring off the bench.
