Devin Booker is an All-Star like a “flavored sports drink” is Gatorade.
They might essentially be the same, but everybody knows there’s a difference, right?
Not according to Tom Chambers.
“There’s no asterisk,” the Suns legend said.
Booker was picked for his first All-Star team as a replacement for Damian Lillard, who will miss the game Sunday with a groin strain.
Chambers knows exactly how it feels to reach the All-Star stage for the first time as an injury replacement. He was picked to step in for Ralph Sampson after the Houston big man tore cartilage in his knee about a week before the game in 1987.
